Corrections policy
Corrections policy
Corrections are free, reviewed and audited. User reports are verification triggers, not automatic facts.
How corrections are reviewed
- We check source quality, date, scope and confidence before changing a public fact.
- Practice corrections can receive higher confidence after practice verification.
- Disputed NHS accepting status is relabelled, refreshed or suppressed until resolved.
- Ambiguous prices are marked from/range/review required rather than forced into medians.
Service standards
- High-risk NHS acceptance disputes should be reviewed first.
- Incorrect address, phone or source identity issues should be triaged before page promotion.
- Practices never need to pay to correct factual data.
- Paid commercial relationships cannot change source-backed ranking order.
Important: a correction report does not prove a fact by itself. It creates a review task and may trigger source checks, practice contact or temporary suppression.
